The band is a turnkey starting range covering ground preparation, drainage, structure, artificial turf, line marking and standard lighting. Fittings such as stands and scoreboards are itemised separately in the quotation.
The estimate is found by multiplying the pitch area (width × length) by the current per-m² band of the chosen pitch type. For example, a 1,500 m² indoor pitch gives 1,500 × TRY 3,500–4,500 = TRY 5,250,000–6,750,000. The same calculation for an outdoor pitch gives 1,500 × TRY 1,900–2,500 = TRY 2,850,000–3,750,000. What Drives the Price?
Two pitches of the same size can differ in cost depending on the items below. The purpose of the site survey is to assess these items on location and finalise the price.
Site gradient, fill requirements and the drainage solution form the opening item of pitch construction; if the existing ground is suitable, the cost moves towards the lower end of the band.
Yarn type, pile height and infill material directly affect both service life and unit price.
A fence-and-net system is sufficient for outdoor pitches, whereas the steel structure and cover account for a significant share of indoor pitch cost.
The number of fixtures and the illumination level create a clear price difference between recreational use and competition standard.
Optional items such as player shelters, spectator stands and scoreboards are added to the total pitch cost.
The site location affects transport, accommodation and installation time, and therefore the total cost. For projects within Ankara this item stays at the lower end of the band.

Pitch cost at standard dimensions
The mini-pitch size, chosen for school grounds, youth academies and narrow residential plots. Over 450 m², outdoor pitch cost falls between TRY 855,000 and 1,125,000, and indoor pitch cost between TRY 1,575,000 and 2,025,000. It suits 4 and 5 a-side play and is the entry option for those starting a pitch investment on the smallest budget.
The size most often chosen for residential complexes, school grounds and narrow plots. Over 800 m², outdoor pitch cost falls between TRY 1,520,000 and 2,000,000, while indoor pitch cost falls between TRY 2,800,000 and 3,600,000. This size suits 6–7 a-side play and keeps the entry investment lowest on limited plots.
The intermediate size between 20 × 40 and 25 × 45, useful on plots that exceed 800 m² but fall short of 1,125 m² and where the full area should be put to use. Over 924 m², outdoor pitch cost is TRY 1,755,600–2,310,000 and indoor pitch cost is TRY 3,234,000–4,158,000.
The balance point between playing area and investment for commercial operators. Over 1,125 m², outdoor pitch cost is TRY 2,137,500–2,812,500 and indoor pitch cost is TRY 3,937,500–5,062,500. It suits 8 a-side play and is widely used in hourly rental models.
Offers a playing area close to 30 × 50 while saving two metres of plot width — a difference that can be decisive where the boundary is tight. Over 1,400 m², outdoor pitch cost is TRY 2,660,000–3,500,000 and indoor pitch cost is TRY 4,900,000–6,300,000.

At this size the number of lighting fixtures and the structural span both increase, so the unit rate tends towards the upper half of the band.
Other Sports Surfaces

A standard tennis court playing area is 10.97 × 23.77 m; including run-off, roughly 18 × 36 m of space is required. The main driver of tennis court cost is the surface type: acrylic hard court, artificial turf and clay applications differ in unit price. Lighting and perimeter fencing are quoted as separate items.
A standard basketball court measures 15 × 28 m. Basketball court cost varies with the choice of acrylic hard surface, modular tile flooring or painted concrete. The hoop system, line marking and perimeter safety are the decisive items in the total.
A padel court measures 10 × 20 m. Tempered glass panels, the steel cage structure and the specialist woven turf make up most of the padel court cost. Whether the court is planned as covered or open, and the lighting level chosen, directly affect the total investment.
A standard volleyball court measures 9 × 18 m, with a wider surface planned to allow for free zones. Volleyball court cost is determined by the choice of acrylic or modular flooring and by the quality of the post-and-net system.
A single surface carrying basketball, volleyball and tennis line markings together. Multi-purpose court cost is more efficient per square metre than surfaces dedicated to one sport, which is why it is frequently chosen for school and residential projects.
A standard athletics track is 400 m per lap; shorter configurations are also built for schools and smaller facilities. Athletics track cost is calculated from the polyurethane (tartan) coating thickness, the condition of the base and the number of lanes.
A standard handball court measures 20 × 40 m — the same footprint as an artificial turf pitch, which is why it is often considered when converting existing pitches to multi-purpose use. Handball court cost is determined by the surface type (acrylic, polyurethane or modular tile), the goal system and perimeter safety choices.
Acrylic coating over concrete, modular tiles and artificial turf are the most common solutions for school grounds. Cost is driven by the area, the condition of the existing concrete and the extent of line marking. On these projects we plan the work schedule around school holidays.
The cost of impact-absorbing rubber surfacing used in children's playgrounds varies with coating thickness (set by the critical fall height) and application method. The price difference between wet-pour rubber and pre-formed rubber tiles becomes more pronounced as the area grows.

The work schedule and delivery date are confirmed in writing after the site survey, according to the project scope.
Cost Guide
Below are the questions we hear most often at survey meetings, and the items investors most frequently leave out of their cost calculations.
The gap between quotations for the same size usually comes from the definition of scope, not from pricing policy. One quotation may include the drainage line, concrete beam and LED lighting while another leaves them "optional". When comparing, look at the item list rather than the total: are ground preparation, drainage, field base, structure, turf weight, infill material and lighting level each written out? A low quotation with an undefined scope tends to exceed the budget through additional items as work progresses.
Artificial turf is the single most decisive item in pitch cost, and the price difference is invisible to the eye. Pile height (45–55 mm), yarn type (monofilament / fibrillated) and yarn weight per square metre determine both playing comfort and service life. A lower-weight turf looks identical in year one; the difference emerges from the third year as the pile flattens. Brand, weight and warranty details stated in writing are the only thing that makes comparison possible.
Indoor pitch cost is roughly 1.8 times that of an outdoor pitch (TRY 3,500–4,500/m² against 1,900–2,500/m²). The difference is made up of the steel structure, cover system and interior lighting. In return, an indoor pitch earns every day of the year regardless of rain, snow or wind. In provinces with long winters such as Ankara, this can offset the higher investment in a relatively short period. The decision is made together at the survey, based on your plot and local competition.

Most of the spread between the lower and upper end of the band comes from the ground. On level, sound land that drains well, excavation and fill are minor items; on sloping land that needs fill or holds water, the drainage solution and sub-base work push the total towards the upper end. This is why figures given over the phone can only ever be a range — the exact price is meaningful only after the ground has been seen.
Maintenance is a small item next to construction cost, but an expensive one to neglect. Regular brushing and one or two infill top-ups a year keep the turf fibres upright and noticeably extend service life. On a neglected pitch the turf may need replacing before five years; on a well-maintained one, close to ten years of use is achievable. We provide a written maintenance schedule specific to your pitch at handover.
The items investors most often omit are: perimeter walls and entrance works, parking, changing rooms and sanitary units, the electricity subscription and panel capacity, landscaping around the pitch and security cameras. These are not part of pitch construction itself, but they are needed to open the facility for business. We raise these at the survey meeting so you can plan your budget realistically.

When evaluating a pitch investment, the operating side matters as much as the construction cost. The topics below are the main points we detail together at the survey meeting.
Pitch revenue comes from hourly rental, memberships and tournaments. Location, ease of access and the density of nearby pitches are the main drivers of occupancy; we assess your area specifically at the survey meeting.
Lighting consumption, artificial turf care, fence and net repairs and staffing are the main operating costs. Choosing LED lighting and maintaining the infill regularly lowers the monthly cost noticeably.
Regular brushing and infill top-ups extend turf life. On a pitch with a properly built substructure, only the turf needs renewing in future; we provide a written maintenance schedule at handover.
